Doc Fitzgerald was all I could hope for as my doctor. The two previous doctors I had in Marion, IN were exceptional and i dreaded moving away and leaving them behind. Finding a new general practitioner is a daunting task and I certainly didn't want to buy a pig in a poke, especially as i get on in years. But a young friend of ours, gave Jim Fitzgerald very high marks, and I have high regard for him and his family. It proved to be an excellent referral, and I feel like Jim is right up on a par with the previous guys. Couldn't be happier!

The first couple of times I saw this provider, the experience was fine. Unfortunately, the last couple of appts, it seemed like he was in the room with me about 2-3 mins., max. He seemed very rushed and in a hurry. I felt like a number or dollar sign, and actually asked my fiancé, afterwards, if maybe providers have a quota to meet. The reality is, I didn't really want to be there either, but it would have been a better experience if the provider would have slowed down enough to let me respond a little more and ask a few more questions. I understand, too, it may be a personality difference and I was there for just a quick check in the throat. However, I'm in healthcare too and it makes a world of difference to set a tone of care and compassion even though your goal may be to be in and out as quickly as possible.
