Trinity Health Ann Arbor Housing Initiative
Expanding Access to Affordable Housing
At Trinity Health Ann Arbor, we recognize that housing is far more than shelter. It is a critical social influencer of health that impacts physical well-being, mental health, economic opportunity, and quality of life. The Washtenaw County Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA), conducted in partnership with Chelsea Hospital and U-M Health, identified affordable, safe, and stable housing as a top priority for improving community health.
In response, Trinity Health Ann Arbor's Implementation Strategy includes a commitment to reducing chronic homelessness and decreasing the number of individuals and families who spend 30% or more of their income on housing. Through strategic partnerships, community investment, and innovative housing initiatives, Trinity Health Ann Arbor is advancing a comprehensive housing strategy that expands access to affordable housing, supports workforce stability, and helps create healthier communities across Washtenaw County.
