Dr. Sandman was referred to me by my previous surgeon (Dr. Ben Harper) and I appreciate Dr. Sandman's expertise, experience, understanding and compassion. The former River Valley Ortho docs are great and I was thrilled that they left OAM and some are now at Trinity Health.

Dr. Sandman has a great bedside manner. He is kind, attentive, listens to patient, explains things well, is interested in answering questions and is willing to provide accomadations for special needs. Fourteen years ago I was so pleased with my right knee replacement that he did. It is still going strong and in great shape. I made sure to find him again when I needed my left knee done last month. Again, excellent surgery and care from Dr. Sandman and his staff and Trinity Health Hospital. I can’t think of anything that they could have done better. Very satisfied and pleased. It is so wonderful to have no more pain.
Dr Sandman performed a knee replacement 14 years ago. I knew when my left knee went bad that I only wanted him. He supported my decision to try every other non surgical option first and then we decided surgery was best. He attended to some special needs that I had and everything turned out great!

Dr Sandman is a very quiet Dr. I wish he would talk a bit louder and not be so business like.
I needed to be alerted of any delays. I allotted enough time to go to my PT appointment after my scheduled follow-up with Dr. Sandman; but due to the extreme delay to be seen; I was 15 minutes late for that appointment! That should not happen!
