As I have mentioned earlier , I have gone to Dr Jannah Thompson since was first an attending and now I followed her to Trinity . She has helped me in many ways . I am 59 years and never has she made me feel like a complainer . Trinity is very fortunate to have her . I myself have been RN for over 40 years & she is greatly missed by the nursing staff at old Metro / U of M west health hospital

I feel the doctor is very competent and skilled. I trusted her evaluation and advice. She explained things well and gave me options. I just felt that the examination was rather cold (literally & figuratively) and impersonal. Most doctors will say "You will feel some pressure" or words to that effect during a pelvic exam, but she was very methodical -- stating measurements out loud (which she did explain to me beforehand) but poking and prodding in kind of a rough manner. It was a little more unpleasant than what I've had in the past with other providers.

I know that Dr. Thompson has a very important practice and busy schedule. I do appreciate being able to have an appointment with her. One thing that I personally go through when I meet someone in the medical field that I have not worked with before is a personal fear of what this person may or may not tell me and what I should expect in the future if I go a certain medical route. I have a, " need to know why", before I go.

This was the first time I had seen Dr. Thompson. She is very thorough and proposed some changes of my medication. Her reasons for proposing the changes were very valid and I can only hope that my insurance company will approve of them.
