- Clinical interests: Critical Care and Emergency Medicine
- What attracted me to THMI: I had the privilege of completing my longitudinal APPE rotations at Trinity Health Oakland, where I loved the Trinity Health mission and commitment to exceptional patient care. From this experience, I knew I wanted to stay within the Trinity Health community. During my THAA interview, the kind, welcoming, and fun demeanor of the preceptors and current residents immediately put me at ease. Along with THAA’s various opportunities related to my clinical and professional interests, I knew it was a program where I would thrive both personally and professionally.
- Outside of pharmacy, I enjoy: Going for walks on new nature trails, playing with my dog, spending time with family and friends, and watching the Discovery Channel.

- Clinical interests: Critical Care and Neonatal Intensive Care/Pediatrics
- What attracted me to THMI: I had the opportunity to complete my Health Systems APPE rotation at THAA, and I immediately felt welcomed by the supportive environment and team culture. What attracted me most to the program was the variety of clinical experiences offered, including participation in Code Blue responses, which closely align with my interests. I was also drawn to the teaching experiences available through the University of Michigan affiliation, as well as the chance to work with and precept IPPE and APPE students. Overall, THAA had everything I was looking for in a residency program, and I felt it would provide the experiences and support needed to help shape me into a well-rounded clinical pharmacist.
- Outside of pharmacy, I enjoy: Traveling, trying new restaurants, and spending time with friends and family.

- What attracted me to THMI: I was determined to find a program that aligned well with my goals after pharmacy school, and I found this program to do exactly that! Some qualities that caught my attention were the unique learning experiences and the ability to earn a teaching certificate through the University of Michigan. Throughout the residency showcases and interview process, I was met with a welcoming environment and a genuine sense that the program was invested in supporting resident goals and future ambitions.
- Outside of pharmacy, I enjoy: Exploring new countries and cities, playing soccer, snowboarding, fishing, camping and really anything outdoors!
Mitchell Ziebold

- PharmD: University of Michigan
- Clinical interests: Internal Medicine and Critical Care
- What attracted me to THMI: My interest in Trinity Health Ann Arbor began during the start of my P4 year after completing my Critical Care APPE rotation at this hospital. I also completed my Health Systems rotation at the Trinity Health Livingston Hospital as a P4. I really enjoyed both of my experiences and was able to get a good grasp of the environment and culture of Trinity Health. I was able to work with amazing preceptors who made me enjoy going to rotation every day. I was also drawn to this residency with the opportunity to be able to teach and precept pharmacy students through the University of Michigan. The program's flexibility to adjust your rotation schedule throughout the year is a great bonus, as I am still trying to narrow down my clinical interests for the future.
- Outside of pharmacy, I enjoy: Spending time with friends and family, watching sports, playing golf, and cooking.
