Deadlines

We are accepting applications only through ERAS until November 1.  We will screen applications and contact those who will be granted an interview.  The interview season is October through December.

Applicant Requirements

  1. A passing score on USMLE Step 1 or COMLEX Level 1 at the time of application.
  2. Pass Part 2 of the USMLE/COMLEX and Clinical Skills Assessment prior to the start of residency
  3. Only one failure within all steps of USMLE/COMLEX
  4. Applicants should have graduated from medical school within the past three years and have clinical experience within the past three years.
  5. Applicants must qualify for a full or unrestricted educational limited license in the State of Michigan
  6. International Medical Graduates must be certified by ECFMG
  7. Eligibility to work in the U.S. is required

Application Status Updates

The Psychiatry Program will not be giving status updates by phone, email or walk-ins.  We will only be contracting applicants whom we invite for an interview.
