Application Information
  • Applicants must have passed USMLE Step 1 or COMLEX Level 1 before the interview.
  • Applicants must have passed USMLE Step 2 CK or COMLEX Level 2 before the interview.
  • Applicants must have passed all USMLE or COMLEX exams on their first attempt.
  • Applicants should have graduated medical school within twelve months or have clinical experience within the last year.
  • Three letters of recommendation from a United States, Canadian, or British equivalent clinical rotation. Letters should be from those who can comment on the applicant’s direct patient care or significant experiences (e.g. research). Letters intended for advanced/categorical residencies are acceptable. Letters from shadowing experiences (e.g. observerships) are discouraged.
  • A Medical Student Performance Evaluation (i.e. “Dean’s Letter”) and complete medical school transcript are required.
  • Applicants must be able to possess a full or unrestricted educational medical license in the State of Michigan.
  • Applicants must be eligible to work in the United States.
  • Applications are accepted through ERAS (ID 9992500255) and the NRMP (1418999P0)

Interviews will be held online through Thalamus/ERAS for the 2024-25 interview season.

We can sponsor J1 Visas. We cannot sponsor H1 Visas. International medical graduates must be eligible for ECFMG certification and hold a valid ECFMG certificate at start of residency.
