Neurology Residency

The Trinity Health Grand Rapids, Neurology Residency at Hauenstein Neurosciences is part of the NIH StrokeNet Clinical Trials and is the main site in West Michigan in collaboration with the University of Michigan. Residents learn about and participate in recruitment of patients for these trials under guidance of a supervising faculty.

Resident Projects

Each resident is required to complete a scholarly project during their residency under the guidance of our research committee. They are encouraged and expected to present their research in a variety of forums including grand rounds, local, regional and national conferences. We are the leading department and GME program in research and publications in the hospital system. Residents have been involved in a variety of longitudinal scholarly activity projects, presented at local, national, and international conferences.
