My practice involves oversite over our ambulatory care team composed of pharmacists, interns and technicians. This includes recruitment and training, design of our clinical model and oversite of performance. In addition to this role, I serve the medical group as an educator, policy owner, formulary manager and medication safety specialist. My interests include research and development in ambulatory care with a focus on medication safety, public health and underserved populations.

Hobbies/Interests Outside of Work

I spend most of my time with my husband, daughter, and two sweet dogs. I love travel, reading, cooking, camping, gardening, and home design.

I practice in the McAuley outpatient clinic where I collaborate with providers to help patients achieve success with their antiretroviral therapy. Much of my research interests involve antiretroviral resistance and supporting pharmacist run HIV Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP).

I am the specialty pharmacist for HIV and transplant patients at Trinity Health Pharmacy – Wege Center, our ACHC accredited specialty pharmacy. My main role is working closely with both the HIV and kidney transplant clinics to optimize care for our patients. I am also part of the Quality Management Committee and lead the performance improvement initiatives for our specialty program. My primary interests include HIV, kidney transplant, performance improvement, chronic disease state management and medication adherence.

My primary practice area is outpatient hematology/oncology, working primarily in the medical oncology clinic at Lacks Cancer Center. My clinical practice includes educating patients on chemotherapy and oral oncolytic regimens, designing and managing oncology supportive care regimens, collaborating with providers on oncology treatment plans and dosing, and managing chemotherapy toxicity/side effects.

My areas of interest are solid tumors (favorites are lung and GU) and immunotherapy. I enjoy exposing residents to a role that makes a high impact and elevates care in the ambulatory medical oncology space.

I enjoy food/wine, coffee, reading, music and travel. I have 2 young kids and recently moved back to Michigan by way of Chicago and California.

I currently practice in the ambulatory setting for kidney transplant to provide care to kidney transplant recipients and living donors. I am a member of the transplant adverse events committee, transplant quality assurance and performance improvement committee, and the transplant review team that assesses which patients should be added to the kidney transplant waitlist or approved to donate a kidney.

My practice interests include transitions of care, immunizations, and improving health literacy.
